APARTMENT MASTER BEDROOM

Welcome to our bedroom! If you have been following me for awhile you’ll know that I love all things white and neutral when it comes to home decor. So when it came to purchasing new bedding for our master bedroom, whites and cream colors were the obvious choice. With some research, I carefully picked each piece. It wasn’t just important that everything needed to be aesthetically pleasing, I needed it to be durable as well. Over all, I am so happy with how it turned out, I definitely feel it is a space that is clean, crisp, and has major cozy vibes.

Trevor and I started off by purchasing a new mattress. It was our first time buying a mattress together, and I was really unsure of what to expect. But after deciding to shop local in our hometown, we were able to pick the perfect one for us in under half an hour. Looking back, I should have realized that would be the easy part, the difficult part would be getting Trevor to agree to an all white bed.

I can definitely understand how some of you could find white bedding a major concern….but do not be afraid!!! I have been using white for years and never had an issue (you must also know I am no stranger to tanning lotion and spray tans). However, if white happens to be too risky for you, you can definitely play it safe with grays and tans. As long as you have a neutral base you can implement color and texture with throw pillows and blankets. So as your style changes you can switch out pillows for a brand new look, which is much cheaper than redoing your entire bedding. I love switching out pillows for each new season, I am currently already on the hunt for fall themed pillows (because fall is life)!!
