S’MOREGAS BOARD

I think we can all agree on the fact that 2020 just hasn’t been our year. However, just because all of our plans haven’t quite worked out the way we wanted, doesn’t mean we should be canceling the fun! I am the type of person who always needs to have a plan in place and events to look forward to. Whether it’s a big trip that involves taking a plane, or just a weekend out to the farmers market; I truly believe so much happiness and joy comes from having something to look forward to.

For me, when things start falling through, I take matters into my own hands. I plan small get togethers with my family and friends. We love having fires, grilling out, hanging on the porch, or playing games in the yard like badminton and corn hole (my hidden talent is that I am bomb at corn hole). Sometimes, it is the simple impromptu hangs that are the absolute best!!!

Whenever we have guests over I love to setup charcuterie boards that have different themes, ranging from sweet to savory, or a combo of both. I think it is so fun to have a variety of different items to choose from. Not only are they fun to look at, they help to hit everyone’s cravings. Below are a few photos of a board I made a few weeks ago that I am calling my S’moregas board. It has all of the necessities to create a s’more treat, and a little more!

Using the classic s’mores building items, I placed original graham crackers, stackable marshmallows, and Hershey chocolate on a plate. I added in some mini Reese’s for a fun twist, as well as raspberries and blackberries to add color. This is such an easy way to add some fun to your little get togethers.
