Hi guys!! It’s been a hot minute since I last posted on the blog. This time of year is very busy for my job, so my work laptop has been getting ALL of my attention while my personal has been (sadly) laying low. However, what is important is that I am here now, just in time for another holiday treat idea!!!

Holidays are my jam, but when I think back I never do much for St. Patrick’s Day. Usually this time of year I occupy myself with spring cleaning and decorating for Easter (and shopping for Easter baskets) which kind of leaves St. Patrick’s Day on the back burner. This year I wanted to make sure not to let the day pass me by so I put together some festive (yet very simple) treats together!

First we have a savory, festive, and simple charcuterie tray. It can be easy to overthink festive foods and treats, but sometimes it is the most simple things that are the best. You don’t have to hit the market and buy every single thing that is green and edible to put on a snack tray for St. Patrick’s day. You can simply add some festive touches by shapes, like how I used a small clover shaped cookie cutter to make shapes with cheese. Throw those in with some of your favorite foods and snack away!

Another idea is to add festive touches to your favorite morning drink. You can do this for your kids, yourself or both! For kids, add green food coloring to milk, top with a whipped cream cloud and rainbow candy. I used this candy and just cut it in sizes that I liked. For yourself, make an espresso shot, add green food coloring to your favorite milk (I use oat milk) and top with the whipped cream and candy! A simple, but fun way to add a little St. Patrick’s Day festiveness to your day.
